- Project manage the company standardized stage-gate process for all new product launches and changes.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget and aligned to strategy
- Champion the evolution and improvement of the new product development process
- Ensure all processes and tools are understood and applied by cross-functional teams
- Measure and report on team and project performance
- Proactively identify cross-functional and business risks / challenges to product development/change plans
- Act as the “voice of reason” at the executive level steering committee for product launch/change and scope decisions
- Facilitate decision making and remove barriers to drive project progress
- Be the central contact between key business, product development and commercialization functions
- Ensure priorities of business units are anticipated and satisfied by operational functions
- Work with inventory planning to establish weekly production plans in accordance with factors of demand and supply with assumptions tied to the company’s financial model
- Support crop production schedules to ensure crop strategy aligns to product demand and commercialization strategies
- Directly oversee all supply chain aspects of the new product commercialization / product change processes to ensure all inventory is properly planned for including changes to existing inventory plans and addition of new inventory into the supply chain
- Partner with marketing on non-supply chain commercialization aspects of the new product commercialization / product change processes to ensure inventory and operational planning aligns to marketing and sales strategies.
- Partner with marketing and sales on promotional plans in support of improving cross-functional workflows and decision making around product launches and changes
- Create business impact analysis on decisions related to price or product changes
- Develop close supporting relationships with site production directors and managers including cultivation, production planners and manufacturing teams
- Help operational teams understand future requirements for production, storage, and distribution to support change management around facilities and personnel related to changes in product / production demand
- Detailed understanding of all operational SOP’s inside of production facilities
- 6+ years in new product commercialization and project management
- Outstanding, proactive communicator and active listener
- Strong data analytics and project management capabilities.
- Understanding of sales and marketing strategy development
- Highly Proficient with excel and inventory management systems.
- Ability to use the computer.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to manage high stress situations and to be flexible and adaptable when required.
- Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task.
- At least 21 years of age and authorized to work in the US.
- Proper employment documentation.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
- Willingness to work evenings and weekends, if requested.
- Experience and knowledge in horticulture and/or agriculture preferred.

- Must be capable of sitting, squatting, standing, kneeling, bending, or walking for extended periods.
Education
- Bachelor’s in Business, Analytics, Supply Chain, or related equivalent preferred.
- Minimum High School Diploma or G.E.D equivalent required.
