Primarily day shift M-F but other shifts as needed to cover the department/service line including the potential for some weekends, holidays and call.
Job Summary
This position has responsibility for administrative, business and operational planning and assessment of the ENT service line at Chandler and Good Samaritan. He/she is intimately involved in the development, implementation, and execution of the strategic plans for perioperative and nursing services. 3 years operating room experience. Basic understanding of patient throughput within the perioperative services and specific areas of responsibility. Standard Duties of a Registered Nurse and increased responsibility for coaching, mentoring and assisting other nurses, ORA's, Anesthesia Techs and others within the perioperative services area. Excellent communication and follow through is essential.
This position has been identified as supporting UK HealthCare, which receives funding from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services ( CMS). Therefore, all individuals hired into this position must comply with the federal CMS mandate issued in March of 2022. This mandate requires all new hires to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination or obtain an approved medical or religious exemption as a condition of employment. Start of employment cannot occur until two weeks after receiving the full COVID-19 vaccination series or upon obtaining an approved exemption. Only vaccines approved by the World Health Organization can be accepted.
