The Supply Chain Management & Analytics department within the VCU School of Business is looking for an Instructor to teach SCMA 350, SCMA 386, and SCMA 420 and other related courses in our undergraduate supply chain management concentration.
Position Responsibilities:
Preferred areas of teaching expertise include procurement, sourcing, contract management, vendor selection, project management, distribution strategy, warehousing, logistics, and responsible supply chain management. Other specialty areas related to supply chain management will be considered.
The applicant must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
Responsibilities include teaching courses in Supply Chain Management at the undergraduate level and potentially at the master's level.
Responsibilities include teaching 4 sections in both fall and spring semesters. This 4/4 teaching load may be altered based on the number of preps and the number of students in the sections and if there is special consideration given to the instructor based on departmental needs.
In addition to teaching, serving on department committees is required. Research is not required.
Required Qualifications:
Applicants must have either a Bachelor's Degree with significant and high level supply chain management work experience (15 years) or a Masters (preferred) in supply chain management or other related areas.
Excellent oral and written English language skills are required.
Must be able to work in the United States.
